“The barbecues are so good I had to buy the company”

Marine Barbecues Australia was founded in 1995. Maurice Gilet owned one of these original barbecues and he also sold them through his boat brokerage at Pittwater. In June 2014 Maurice decided “The barbecues are so good I had to buy the company”.

From small beginnings in a garage to its factory units in Taylors Beach Port Stephens, Marine Barbecues Australia is now know as Caravan and Marine Barbecues. The beginnings of the company were in the manufacturing of barbecues in high grade marine stainless steel, specifically designed for the boating industry for small and large boat owners.

New models have been added along the way, older models have been refined and now there’s a Galleymate Marine Barbecue to suit just about anybody on the water. Yachts, Power and Houseboats

Throughout this evolution, the Sizzler range of barbecues has been developed especially to cater for caravans, RVs and camper trailers, which are required to fit in small spaces.

There is also a variety of accessories for the boating and caravanning enthusiasts e.g. different mounting options, stands, slide systems, utensil trays etc.
